either way there needs to be at least ground rules about it. If you don't develop or have plans to develop the land you shouldn't be able to claim it.

some of these huge land claims are beyond retarded. unless the area is explicitly walled off or marked with plenty of signs i'm not going to have respect for the boundary. with the way the server has grown admins really need to take a look at this. the last thing you want is a bunch of jackasses running around killing everybody over a huge area in the name of their 'territory'.

Even as a donor i'd say i'm against protection being provided ONLY to donors. If someone builds something incredibly awesome on the server, especially if its open to the public or large faction, it should be protected regardless of status. Maybe you'd have a system where non-donors apply for protection for certain areas/structures and the admins take a vote.
